Northcote Pottery Terracotta
This is a strong heavily grogged clay that, that is ideal for handbuilding. This terracotta is great for building your own custom pots, garden ornaments, or sculpture work. It’s suitable for tableware or other forms of function ware that is required to hold water do to its absorption rate when fired.
When Fired to Orton cone 02 (approximately 1100C) it has a deep orange colour, and a total shrinkage rate of about 6.5%.
